Community Conversations are a new initiative co-designed and led by Safe Space guests and staff to offer connection, creativity, and community capacity building in a grassroots setting.
We exist to connect community and increase our collective capacity to respond to distress—both personally and socially. We believe that healing is not found in isolation, but in connection: in informal peer support, creative expression, movement, and spaces where Lived and Living Experience is honoured as Expertise.
Guided by the ethos that distress is a normal human response to complex life circumstances, Community Conversations gatherings will provide peer-led, circle-based support as well as holistic distress alleviation approaches including stamp art, breathwork and Tai Chi.
